This shows David Glassman as a soldier in the First World War. He escaped from David-Horodok during the Holocaust and made his way to Argentina. He was the brother of Anna Glassman Millman, the mother of Dr. Neil Millman.
The Yiddish at the bottom says: "You shouldn't wonder why I look so bad. I made the picture two years ago. Now I look much better."
